Girls Soccer Team gets ready to go to Districts

Getting one percent better each day is the Girls Soccer Team’s ultimate goal for the rest of this semester and next school year.
“Our team motto is “ganas” which means the desire and urge to want to win and grow. We definitely want to establish more “ganas” into our games,” said Soccer coach Bryan Ramallo.

Most people believe that unplugging is the end of the world. But is it? The Journalism 1 classes of Grand Island Senior High School did just that. I was one of those students.
Large portions of the classroom struggled while I found something peaceful, a way to destress, a puzzle. For 45 minutes, the only thing my friend and I did was a puzzle.

Grand Island Senior High’s wrestling team

Coaches are planning for the winter sports season to start soon. Grand Island Senior High’s Coach Jeff Evans, who coaches for the female wrestling team, is bringing a positive attitude as winter is right around the corner. 
Evans is coaching Grand Island Senior High’s first wrestling team that is an all-girls wrestling team. Evans coaches girls who are in the following grades: ninth, tenth, eleventh, and twelfth.

FBLA helps prepare students for the future

FBLA’s (Future Business Leaders of America) mission to inspire the next generation of business leaders has just begun.
According to assistant FBLA sponsor Jessica Whitmire, FBLA is an organization that helps prepare students for careers in business through academic competitions, leadership conferences, and educational programs.
